By having an educational experience within Architecture and Sustainable Design, and years of hands-on remediation practice, Liz Keefer joined the field of performing Indoor Air Quality Assessments after getting a void in the market that had to be filled. She gave up her hand tools for her investigation and testing tools, and the birth of "The Mold Girl" had started. Liz Keefer currently holds the title of Indoor Environmental Consultant (CIEC) accredited by the ACAC Council which is the most prestigious certification one is able to make in the indoor air quality industry.

Along with more than 9 years of knowledge aiding homeowners and business owners with environmental issues, Liz Keefer displays the same treatment and consideration about every task. Mold Sensitive to some species herself, Liz really understands how mold can affect one person instead of another, and how constant exposure may affect everyday life. In her "Mold Girl" SUV, Liz can often be observed driving around town, and sometimes found chatting on the street with your residents and business owners who simply have concerns.
